electrical parts for window assembly S3

Hi guys ,

Does anybody know which Window motor assembly is used in the S3: it seems to be a Citroen( according to the partslist ) but which model??

I need one for the right side; mechanical part( connected to the electrical motor ) is worn

A friend of mine has just sourced a new motor for his S3 and after extensive research with a parts supplier reckons it comes from a Citroen Maserati SM. Also fitted to some Lancia models. I'll post again when I know it fits. Cost about £115. Regards Andy

From a Citroen SM! Citroen stopped making them in 1975. Could TVR have picked anything more obscure... Not much chance of picking one of those up from a breakers...

Surely it must have been used something else!
