Whilst hosing copious gobs of pigeon sh!t off the car yesterday, one of the fat sods did a high pass precision dump on my bloody head....
This left me late for an appointment and my story was met with scepticism...
On returning home, another car had taken 15 hits in a few short hours.
Any ideas to remedy this malaise..?
I've tried launching the cat from a trebuchet, but he doesn't seem comfortable with air to air combat and the neighbours complain about the howling.
Don't know why he howls, I'd give an arm and a leg to be able to fly, the ungrateful little sod...

My mate has the same problems, but with pigeons in trees on his land.
the trees are approx 100ft tall, and there are about 6 in total. He has been quoted about £6000 to have them removed so is looking for an alternative method.
Any ideas, anyone?
Cheers

We've had them roosting on our row of terraces for a few years.
Spikes work, but simply move the problem on to your neighbour, so all properties need to be done.
My neighbour has employed a marksman, expensive, anti social (as in neighbours get all excited and complain), and they just get replaced by other flocks apparently.
Certain types of rat poison in oatmeal, fine but see above.
Repelants, (garlic, moth balls) good for certain areas like gardens.
Fake Owl works for a while, until they realise and it becomes their best mate!
Basically you can only hope to control the problem, if the flying rats are away from your property, and aren't leaving 'poocastles' on your window ledges then job done. To erridicate it would take large amounts of cash and a serious OCD problem.

Air rifle for your mate. £300 will get you a very decent one for hunting, leaving £5700 in change.the trees are approx 100ft tall, and there are about 6 in total. He has been quoted about £6000 to have them removed so is looking for an alternative method.

OP: im guessing the pigeons are on your drive, so you wont be able to use an air rifle.

We get a guy from a local falconry place to fly his birds around the office complex every month or so, the gulls and pigeons don't come back in a hurry.
