I'm very glad Howies still continue to advertise the raw elements of the sport: This just makes me want to ride...fantastic advert IMHO

Nice, typical Howies though, don't bother to show of their goods in any great detail, that wouldn't do LOL.

I do love thier stuff, the t-shirts and Jeans especially, but some of the prices are bonkers. In the middle of a nasty recession, they release a pair of jeans for £225.

And although they're uber-environmentally caring, a catalogue the size of a small paperback thumped through the letterbox yesterday......

I've a couple of their merino t-shorts and long-sleeved tops. Yes, they're pricey, but they've lasted well, so they're reasonable-ish value. The jeans, on the other hand, seem to me to ludicrously overpriced.

OK, so I know they're hand-knitted by Beyonce's mum from a combination of yogurt and cottage-woven smugness, but £225 for jeans........nah, think I'll leave that well alone.

It really is a lovely advert isn't it smile

I'm a big fan of their t-shirts and jeans as well (will be getting some merino tops this year to). It's only one pair of jeans that's £225, most are £75 and, so far, seem really nice and very well made (think it's the smugness that makes them last wink
