CLS 320 CDI v CLS350 CGI - mpg?

Im currently looking at buying one of these and noticed that a lot of websites are quoting the 350 petrol returning a combined 28-30mpg - that seems highly impressive if its true. A couple of mates drive the 320 diesels and dont get more than 30mpg combined.

Id rather go for the petrol if there isnt that much difference - has anyone here got a 350 petrol - what mpg are you returning?

Well if they are getting that low a mileage I would check the lead weights in the shoes. I get 35-36mpg normally with up to 40 on a run in a CLS 320cdi
