Edinburgh Independent Garage - Recommendations?

Anyone care to recommend an independent garage for a run-of-the-mill service. Preferably in the north of the city.

Fed up paying over the odds to careless main dealers.

What sort of car do you have?

I use Ashbrook for my golf and my families other VWs but they are a german specialist but do everything iirc.

I'll give your VW guys a call if I don't get any other recommendations, and see if they'd stoop to servicing non-Deutsche.
