Hello fellow wedgers,

I see their were 25 350SE's made which mine is one of.

I have checked the list of 350SE's on the Wika link and seems this point me to number 6 due to the colour. Saying that with the lack of any colour identification on my TVR this is proving difficult to confirm. The number that was placed on the front wings of the car were removed during a re-spray before I took ownership. I have photographs of this but none of them are clear enough for me to see the number.

Can anyone help as I would like to get the number logo reproduced to put back on my TVR

I used to own 350SE no 5. No 6 was for sale, advertised in Pistonheads in 2002 and it was definitely the same or a very similar colour to yours - ruby mica red?. It was a lovely car, but too expensive for me - £10999 - at the time. The owner was a pistonhead and bought a Chimaera after selling it. At the moment I can't remember the name of him. Do you have any of it's early history. I remember the owner telling me he had used Castle TVR or possibly Kerridges for it's last service with him - 2001/2002?

I've remembered his Pistonhead's name!! The owner of no6 was 'The Dodger'. He's still active on Pistonhead's forums and no 6 is listed in his car list smile

Excellent! thank you,

I have been sifting through the paperwork and a gentleman owned the TVR for the years 97 to 02 the exact same time as The Dogger but a different name is list for this member than I have as the previous owners paperwork.

I guess he could be listed under someone else's name?

Very much appreciate your help!

TVRCC have the factory list of 350se's incl. vin, car(1- 26) & engine number.

On some (not all?) 350se's the last 2 digits of the vin number are the same as the specific number allocated within the 25 built.

There was no number 13.
A later car was written off very young - at the customer request the factory built a replica but the original car found its way back on the road - therefore 1 number is duplicated.

Thanks David,

Unfortunately that would make my 350SE number 91 ( I know you said not all, I thought it was funny), I wish that it was that easy things rarely are . I'm not a member of the TVRCC yet, thought I would check it out first to see if it was worth it.

Thanks again!

Chris Thomas (CDT on PH) owns No1. His Dad had a Griff until recently. He's been to wedgefest a couple of times and is a very nice chap. I don't thing he posts on here too much but does post now and again on the West Mids region of the TVR club site.
