A massive THANKYOU

I would like to thank everyone for all their help and advice you have given me over the last two weeks or so 
This is the first time I have done anything as complex as this so without your help I would have been pretty goosed.
Things I ended up replacing
• 2 exhaust valves
• Head gaskets on both sides
• Camshaft
• Timing chain and sprockets
• All 16 lifters
• All 16 rockers
• Rocker shafts
• All 16 pushrods
• Rocker gasket
• Manifold gaskets
• Pedestal shims
• Plus all the other bits and bats I needed to do this
Finally got everything back together today turned the key, primed the fuel and she fired up first turn.
Sounded like a bag of spanners for the first few seconds but as soon as the lifters filled up this went away.
Couple of issues to sort out, I forgot to attach the second cable on the starter so the alternator light is on and I have a very slight blow from the Y piece joint, I didn’t use any sealer on this so that will probably be the mistake other than that all seems well.
