New Lotus?

Hi there,
Does anyone have any information on when a new Lotus will come out?
The Australian website says that m250 will be available in 2004. (www.lotuscars.com.au/avail.html)

The M250 has been canned unfortunatley. There are signs of an elise 160/190 and possibly another engine on its way. A new modelled esprit is out. Thats about it I think.

This is the first I've heard of a release date, I feel this is just Lotus Australia being optimistic about the M250 redevelopment.

It's just poor communication me thinks. The M250 was canned. Development costs were too high. It will no doubt influence future car designs, but that car as we saw it won't appear.

More than just signs - I drove the new Lotus Sport Elise 190 round Hethel on Tuesday. It's a cracker.
