Long time lurker, addicted to the Ultima....

Well fellas, I'm slowly starting to cave into making the grand purchase of my very own GTR after having lusted after one since 2004. I have been a long time lurker here in the ultima forum, and have probably gone through every single page of the 300 that are here. I had a chat with Schwartz performance the other day, and eagerly await to see Jeff's beauty in person on the Hot Rod Power Tour.
Little background on myself. I have been a part of SCCA racing for the better part of the last 4 years in the open world ranks as a pit crew, and have driven just about everything with wheels on it. I am a graduate of wyotech specializing in Trim and Upholstery and currently own my own business specializing in automotive / marine interior and tops. My main toy currently is a 1989 Mustang GT that I have layed a hand on in every way since I have owned it. Lately, I have been wanting something more dedicated to the track, and being able to go out and have a blast in, as well as coming home to a build where I can put all my love and attention into. Although it seems as though I never have time for my on projects...haha.
On another note, I have noticed the builders located in the UK have access to a few more specially parts than what I have access to here in the states. Namely the carbon fiber poll, as well as the MK 4 short turn signal stalks that I defiantly want to get my hands on when my build starts. What would you recommend I do to source those parts for shipment here to the states?
Look forward to getting acquainted with everyone as in the next few months I plan on making the first big purchases and getting some stages shipped my way!

A belated welcome to the forum.
As has been said the stalks can be found on ebay.UK. If the seller is not happy to ship to the US then ask the Factory if they will accept delivery and put them in your crate.
On the subject of delivery you should consider carefully your initial purchase as shipping is free above a certain order value so where a UK buyer would perhaps only order the earlier stages it may be better for you to order more. You will be more than impressed when it arrives as the Factory have gotten the overseas packaging down to a fine art.

Re the carbon fibre items.
I am currently having moulded the mirror covers, perimiter bolt rocker covers for the SBC, the instrument pod surround, dive planes, and the pancake air filter top. Other items will be available in the near future, and drop me a line anytime for special prices to the PH Ultima forum members.
Oh new item that will be made soon is the storage bin lids possibly in different CF colours, with & without GTR lettering...
