Same as for most other brands - 12% to 15%

Any city will have a good few outlets stocking Breitling, there's no difference between the product they are offering (although service might differ - I have seen people sat at tables with tea and biscuits whilst trying on watches - keep your tea, I'll take the discount please!) so the jeweler needs to get you to buy from them.

Today i was in Beaverbrooks looking to buy the Omega seamaster, i asked the guy if there was a discount for the omega in the window display and for paying cash.He siad under no circumstances do they take any money off the £2150 price. I thought i could get away with paying about £1900 cash.
Iam i being realistic?

10%? Yes.

Walk on to the next shop. It's not like a Seamaster is hard to find.

That guy sounds like a complete plum, and they're not going to be in business long with that attitude.

I'd be looking at 10% as an absolute minimum, more like >15% There will always be someone willing to do a deal, especially in this climate.

Well they lost out on a sale from me anyway, and i hope for there sake the guy was an exception. It has been said before Omegas are not hard to find and plenty other shops for me to look in next week.

Don't buy it at list!

Find another jeweler who is living in the real world and willing to do a deal.

Been watching this thread with interest, I'm not in a position to but the aforemetioned watch although i'm sitting my finals very soon so will be able to get my first "real" watch in a few months time. Ive got my eye on a silver navitimer with silver subdials.

Just wanted to know is it really possible to get a 10% discount? I mean someone on here said greater than 15%!!!? How is this possible? What are the tactics to employ in haggling with these luxury items?

eta do these reductions include rolex watches as well? (the daytona and milgauss are out of the question im assuming)

Thanks in advance.

considering their margin is 37-50%,they can discount a lot more than 10 to 15%...its not as if they going to have a problem replenishing stock...
