LCD display Frozen

Just went out for a spin when I noticed that the LCD display wasn't working and was stuck on 0 mph and 650rpm! Pulled over and turned the ignition on but the dash is staying on!

Any ideas?

Disconnect dashecu in footwell & re-connect?

Thanks for the tip, unplugged it with much back twisting and plugged it back and it was back to normal. Took her for a quick spin and it froze again!

I'm guessing a new Dash ECU is on the cards, what do you reckon?

The dash ECU can be sent away for repair. Can't remember who to but mine had problems and Castle took it out and sent it away.
A lot cheaper than a new one.

That sounds better Zippie, does anyone know who I can send it off to? It looks like it's been repaired before as it has the vehicle reg. and some mileage written on it.

Before you go to the effort are you sure its not a connection or something else like the power feed/earthing causing this?
