Hi

I have search the archives and have not found any concrete answers.....so....

I have an E60 with non-Xenons and no angel eyes as far as I can see. Would it be possible to add angel eyes? If so, what is needed? I am not too bothered with Xenons so not really looking to do anything about that....smile

I have to say I thought all E60's had angel eyes... but then I haven't analysed them in detail.

Have done a quick search and it seems that only post 2007 facelift do all models have Angel eyes, and prior to that just the ones with Xenon's had them. Is this right??

Not sure on those dates, but CA Automotive say that you can't add angel eyes aftermarket, so I guess thats that!

I am sorry to resurrect this thread, as I am in the very embarassing position of not knowing/not being able to judge whether I have angel eyes or not^^

IN bright daylight I am not really able to see much at all, but at dusk for example with just side lights on I can definitely see clearly that there is a bright(er) ring around the headlights......but should these be very obviously visible in bright daylight??

I guess I should just let someone that know what they are talking about have a look.....but...smileI could take some pictures I guess?

IMHO all e60's have angel eyes.

I've an 05 535d and it has the angel eye rings, though i'd love the light off them to be stronger.

There doesnt seem to be any upgrades avail to the non xenon cars, but with xenons you can get the bulbs upgraded for a stronger angel eye glow.

Ca-at may have a predator ice v.2 for the e60. Check out my old garage as those were installed on my previous e39 and very sexy they were too.

AFAIK all E60 have angel eyes. When the LCI model came out the rings were changed and are now MUCH brighter. We had an 06 pre-facelift 535d with non-xenon headlights and that had angel eyes.

Thanks for the comments.

I think what I will do is let CA have a look at it. I need to get some stonechips painted and maybe get some Xenons fitted and they can determine if I really have angel eyes....^^ Get a quote and see if its worth doing!

Will also take some pics at some point....as I promised a couple of weeks ago....smile
