After 5 years, it's over. Just finished my Masters in Automotive Engineering with a placement year at Cummins Engine Company.

My thesis was entitled 'Vehicle duty cycle analysis: defining the relationship between drive style and IUMPR (an element of OBD) performance' - catchy eh?

Despite my best intentions, I currently have no job lined up. Still got a second round interview at Mercedes High-performance engines (F1), but other than that I have no idea what I'm doing next! confused

That is all smile

Congratulations! Make sure you absorb and enjoy the sense of achievement. (I did a M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering by the way so I know how you feel).

The grammatical error ("of" instead of, "have") in your thread title doesn't quite sit with your impressive academic achievement though! wink

You know how you said you haven't got a job?

Did you get someone with basic spelling ability to check your CV?

Done, but you have to buy the parts yourself. And pick the car up, drop it back washed, valeted and with another year's tax and test.

I have no idea what you're on about. I was just going to attack the clutch with an angle grinder, rip it and any surrounding parts out and replace them with a couple of yorkie bars.

Congrats party

I remember the feeling well....

For about 2 months afterwards, whenever I was relaxing I always had this niggling feeling that I should be doing my thesis/studying/doing coursework etc etc, and then the great feeling when I realised there was nothing more to do! smile
