Just read in CAR magazine that Anthony Davidson is racing a Gulf LMP1 Aston Lola at Le Mans this year.

Not sure if this is common knowlege, but I'm even more excited about the weekend now!

I'd heard he tested a car recently, along with Stuart Hall, but hadn't see him 100% confirmed for Le Mans.

Hope he is though !

Rumour/word is that Little Ant will team up with Jos the Boss and 1 other in the third Lola-Aston P1. Jos was seen in the Lola-Aston hospitality area for a long time at Spa.

Think he's also an F1 test driver for Brawn GP.

Probably not as there isn't any testing as such allowed in F1 now, only straight line aero work. He did run for Honda in June last year but i think that was his last F1 experience (to date)

ETA: I slouch corrected, appears he is Brawn's nominated reserve driver. Alexander Wurz isn't too happy about that as he apparently has a contract that says different.

Erm NO seen as F1 testing is banned for the most part, theres only three weeks testing before season starts now and most F1 teams see that as cost cutting hence they dont employ test teams/drivers anymore.

Erm, YES. Davidson is the Brawn GP test and or reserve driver, he said it himself during the practise for the Spanish GP.

Hence the term "Reserve" driver rather than test driver.
