Best hair clippers?

Sorry about the boring post, but...

Need some new hair clippers to shave my head (& beard).
All the sets I've bought in the past have been pretty gutless & break after a few months.

Not to bothered if they're mains or battery powered.

Any recommendations ?

Anything made by Wahl that you cant buy in Argos

I've been using the remington one with the ceramic blades (rechargable and mains power). Used every week for a few years now - very good, and very light.

Thats probably where I've been going wrong, ie. never spending more than £19.99 in Argos!

Old man used to have a barber shop and swears by Wahl, as do most barbers.

Only clippers that can be on 8 hours a day, 6 days a week and not break when some numpty pulls the wire with his foot sending the clippers to the floor.

See them as the mercedes of the clipper world

I would agree. But for using them once a week (at most) on your own bonce, they are just too heavy.

I do mine once a week, so barber ain't an option! Mine's a 1 all over anyhoo, so it can't really go wrong. Blades don't just fall off, leaving you with a 'zero' moment!

I'm on my second set in about 3 years, but they're light and cordless, and can be used in the shower.

Just practice, you can hear when the bldes are cutting, just make sure you run it over your head a few times at the back if you can't see.
