any one know the correct tyre pressures for a S2 ?
Discussion
The 24/22psi are the factory figures and I'd use them as a starting point.
24psi in the rears is too low I find with the Bridgestone ER300 tyres I now run. It squirms too much under hard cornering or quick direction change. I now run 26psi at the rear and 24psi at the front and find that far more stable when cornering with no squirming.
For reference, the GFs 1060Kg MX5 Mk1 ran 26psi both front and rear with 60 profile tyres so the factory figures are not far off far a car that is allegedly 100Kg lighter.
Experiment and see what works for you would be the best way.
