Polyurethane engine mounts RV8
Discussion
Has anyone used the SC Power Polyurethane engine mounts with different hardness for road or competition usage? Seems many TVR owners are using these now as they have a built in torque restraint that stops the engine from dropping in the event of mount failure. I'm interested in any feedback. www.sc-power.co.uk for direct information.
I'm using the original grade ones. I have had no trouble at all with them and tbh haven't noticed any loss of isolation compared to the originals. They simply work, with the added reassurance that the engine will still be restrained if the mounts do eventually fail.
I understand they've produced a second version which is a might better spec, harder material and a higher temperature rating. I haven't tried those ones.
