I've been to a few.

There's not a lot of driving going on apart from getting there/back and convoying down motorways isn't my idea of fun.

Unless you want to meet up with people from the rest of the country and see a well stocked car park I don't see the attraction any more.

Some people love driving a long way to dress up for dinner. If that's your bag then it's a good thing.

I'd rather do a 'Pistonfest' style meeting where you camp out for the weekend (in good driving territory) and BBQ things to death at night (+ alcohol wink).

Maybe we should arrange something similar for the NW.

Can't do BTaP but I'd certainly be up for the camping/BBQ'ing/drinking in the NW idea. hehe

Only if Michelle promises to look after me though? wink

I get your point about BTaP and persuading the OH is proving to be tougher than i initially expected (but im working on it) wink
however the 'Pistonfest' style meet and camping is a definite biggrin

This 'Pistonfest' Stylee thing sounds like a riot!

I would definitely be up for that whilst will still have okish weather!

Who wants to organise it?

for piston fest style of thing I have three ideas and as camping, beer and car are all cool that are all involved in each.

1. how about getting a PH stand at one of the shows in the NW taton park ect
2. cammping at angle sea circuit some time when there is something on
3. camping some where in whales where this is a pub and just doing a weekend length version of the weatsheaf meat

My old one got banned at my request.
Fed up of asking a question and getting slated for things i'd said previously that were unrelates.

Started new account, everyone was helpful, someone found out who i was due to me accidentally signing off as thom, and then it went downhill again.

Proves my theory that no matter how serious my questions were people were only slating me becuase it was me, and not because of what I was asking.

Thats why I know only stick to events threads, and the odd GG or P&P thread.
