Chuck must be gutted, and made all the worse by him doing everything right and it being the result of the incompetents in Detroit. Pass on our best wishes and I'm sure in the long run things can be made to work out. With the following and reputation he has there is no way he has to close down. In 5 years and with a string of international Tatorships doing it the Tator way he can be driving into Detroit having brought the smoldering remains of Chrysler and every Dodge will be a Tators Dodge with a V10 in it.

Last year, Chrysler's owner, Cerberus Capital Management LP, tried to shut down his operation. Tator said the company canceled more than a dozen sales he had made, arguing that he lacked the working capital to function. When news of the company's efforts reached the trade press, a letter-writing campaign on Tator's behalf was launched by owners of the Dodge Viper muscle car.
Tator specializes in Viper maintenance and repair, and he has earned a following both in the Lower Hudson Valley and overseas. Cerberus backed off.
This week, Tator has been hosting a friend from England, Barry Adams, an engineer with Virgin Media and a member of a United Kingdom chapter of Viper owners.
Adams said club members consult via the Internet with Tator on mechanical issues affecting their cars, and two years ago Tator went to England to help one customer install a new engine.
Adams, 34, invited Tator to his wedding.
"It's hard to put in words what he's got," Adams said.
Yesterday, Tator had five Vipers in the bays of his garage, in various stages of repair. He doesn't have any cars on his lot for sale, having scaled back orders. Sales make up the minority of his revenue, however.
But what does it mean??? Tator specializes in Viper maintenance and repair, and he has earned a following both in the Lower Hudson Valley and overseas. Cerberus backed off.

I've read it several times and still haven't worked it out... I'm guessing it's a misquote? Let's hope that Chuck manages to at least continue trading, he's going to get alot of support again which can only be a good thing! And if the sales of vehicles are the minority of his revenue then let's hope it doesn't hit too hard!
All the best to you Chuck!
A really sad day for all Viper owners if this comes to fruition.
I can't thank Chuck enough as the engine transplant mentioned in the note was Bling with Chuck coming over for a busman's vacation and getting Bling up and running with myself, Paul Lacey & Dr Bob in a couple of days.
Complete madness as his experience and willingness to help others is what REAL customer service is all about - something sadly lacking in this solely financially driven world where very few people you talk to have even the slightest clue about their products - let alone what makes a Viper HISS.
Baz give Chuck my best - hope you packed a few good English Ales in your suitcase
