New Griff Wheels, what do you think?
Discussion
These people refurbed my OZ split rims.....
I had the rim adonized so not as shiny as as the bear metal which most places do, but the advantage is that they don't need constant cleaning and polishing to prevent pittng

On to your topic.... the wheels look great in the pic....... I tend to find though the only way to really guage is to actually see the wheel in the flesh against the car

Ooooh Dear! Now those are not very nice at all are they?! Gotta be honest, I've yet to see anything round and shod with rubber that is so ugly. Please, please get this moment of insanity out of your head Andy or my weekend will be ruined. What a waste of good aluminium when you consider there are schools short of chairs. Fookin' awful!!

I can't think of any car that those wheels would look good on

Wouldn't 18s all round adversely effect the handling and make for an unpleasant ride?
While you might be able to get away with lightweight motorsport wheels of that size and sympathetically chosen tyres, the items pictured above are bound to weigh a ton, which will upset the ride and handling of any lightweight car - let alone a TVR - far more than the two tonne Amurrican barges the Chinese probably had in mind when they devised these atrocities.RichardD said:

.They would work better if you restyled the bodywork to resemble a tatty old Vauxhall Nova, and then parked it outside Halfords.

The offset isn’t ideal for either front or rear.
The front tyres the vendor proposes have a 51.2mm greater diameter. The normal accepted limit is a variation of 2.5% not the 8.74% proposed here.
The rears tyres proposed are closer, only 21.8mm too big. But still outside normal limits, really they should be 245/35 R18. This profile is more track than road focused, although plenty of TVR owners run them happily on the road.
The fronts will probably tramline. The gearing will be altered and the speedo will be out.
You make no mention of rim width.
Before buying wheels, always check that the tyres of your choice are available in the sizes needed to match the wheels. Not all width and profile combinations are always available.
Finally, we will all point at you and laugh.
