Pit Walk pass?

Would appreciate some input folks if possible. A good friend and I have been offered some "Pit walk" passes for this years Le Mans, but at a price which makes me want to know what I am getting - 460 euros each.

Looking online, I am struggling to find what this actually gets me, and it states that I will have access to the pit lane for 2 hrs on the Friday and 1 hr on the Sat - but I thought I had the Friday access this free of charge anyway with a standard entrance ticket? The pass does NOT give access to the grandstand or any other reserved area....
Any input appreciated here! Does this give almost 400 euros extra "value" worth vs a standard ticket?

Looking at the link you posted the extras seem to be, entry to the paddock for the whole week and to the pit lane before the practice sessions (Weds and Thursday) and before the race.
I believe a lot of teams employ security to keep people out of their garages, but if you think your blagging skills are top rate you could get a unique experience out of it.
ETA: You'll have to try and find out if "paddock access" just means to the outer paddock areas that are open on the Friday or to the inner paddock at the back of the pits.

Thanks for the feedback - I believe currently that it does, but I also remember you could access those back areas in years past. I distinctly remember walking amongst the tyre trucks in 2004/5 - something I don't think is possible now without these kind of passes? Edited by Truckosaurus on Friday 15th May 09:36
I think the only 'advantage' you get is having access to the paddock area directly behind the pit garages, and the access to the pit lane during those times, which i suppose is quieter than the scrum on friday.
Not sure exactly what enhancement this would bring to the weekend though? It is expensive, and if the pit lane is all you want to see then doing it free on friday would probably do.

Have been fortunate on a couple of occasions to get access to the paddock area behind the pits after a pit garage visit with a friendly team (thanks Shorty !) and whilst it was great to have a snoop around there, there really isn't a great deal to see that you can't see from the other side of the fencing as you won't get into any of the other garages without an invite. Would I pay 450 euro for it ? No way, thats a lot of beer.....

Really, I wouldn't bother. Unless you know the right people and get the right unbuyable passes (from teams, not ACO) you will not get within 20feet of most of the garages from the rear, and nor will it get you past the taped off area at the front.
Given that you can see most of what goes on in there from above us less it's pocket money to you don't worry.
The only real boon I have found (other than for the reasons I need such a pass!) is that it lets you use the 'secret tunnel' under the track which cuts out having to join the scrum over the Dunlop bridge or through the public tunnel.

I treatedmy son to a pit pass/walk couple of years ago it wasn't cheap by we visited various pit crews etc while race won it was very well organized.
Also took to far end of pits area where the trophy cup is held , best bit was the young dutch girl who guided us round, but we never had any overalls .
Perhaps H & R have changed the safety rules I thought is was worth the money.
