I've seen the pumps sell on eBay for very reasonable prices. If you choose the correct auction. smile

Pump £121 delivered... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-BOSCH-044-FUEL-PUMP-NEW-...

wiring upgrade is just some 20-30amp wire (about 2 meters of each is plenty.
Fuse and holder and a relay...about a £10 for all the bits.

The wiring upgrade is a doddle, you only need a relay, an in-line fuse holder, a couple of short lengths of decent cable and some decent quality connectors - all in, less than a tenner.

When do you tend to hear it, is it usually when the car is idling or is it noticable all the time? If noticable all the time is there any alternative or any way of reducing the noise?
