throttle body

On the insert things on throttle body ( see pic), the bit that the induction pipe goes over, there seems to be a gap at the bottom on one side and its sits flush at the other, basically its not in straight. All 8 are like this which makes me wonder if it has been set like that? I dont think it would make any difference at all, just curious, anybody else notice this?

It's the little pinch screw on the left in the pic that distorts them slightly when its tightened up.
