Does anyone know the total number manufactured for both the 550 and 575 as well as the total number imported into the UK by Ferrari?
I think I read somewhere that there were circa 400 550's brought into the UK.
thanks
For really nerdy info like that try www.ferrarichat.com - there is a specific 550/575 forum.I think I read somewhere that there were circa 400 550's brought into the UK.

Someone will know I reckon.
3600 550 Maranello's were made in total.
457 were delivered new to the UK
1810 575 M Maranello's were made with F1 transmission
246 575 M Maranello's were made with manual transmission.
The figures I have for UK 575 deliveries are:
64 manual and 158 F1.
The figures above do not include the 550 Barchetta and 575 Superamerica.

even though very similar cars,575 just feels/looks slightly more modern...
550 is 485bhp
575 is 515 bhp
air intake in 575 slightly bigger to aid cooling
fog lights on 550 in grill,on 575 in headlight unit...
575 is als available as an f1
interior also different...most noticably dashboard and door panels

That kind of post should ring "train spotter" but as the 550 is one of my favourite Ferraris (mainly because it was the first Ferrari I ever drove), I applaud it and actually find the production figures rather interesting.
A race car the 550/575 just looks stunning.

A good, but I don't know how reliable, source for Ferrari production in general is the back pages of the 60 years of Ferrari magazine/book produced by EVO magazine.Gassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
