I have a a chicken breast to cook tonight,normal assorted spices in the cupboard and i have some double cream. Has anyone got any tasty recipes?



I plan to serve it with saute potatoes smile

Cream is a good base for a sauce... Do you have any mushrooms?

Otherwise I like chicken Kiev, though it is a little more effort.

Cream, White Wine, Chicken Stock, Onions and Mushrooms makes a nice sauce.

Chicken in a creamy sauce and sauté potatoes sounds a bit too rich.

I'd make a gratin from the potatoes and cream (got an onion you could slice into it?), pan-fry the chicken breast as is, and serve with steamed green vegetables.

OK so I've turned up too latefrown
Pan fried is better skin on.
Nice recipie for chicken breast:
Mix grated cheese(pref a fairly strong Cheddar)grain mustard, add milk til runny texture.
Pour over chicken breasts.
Top with cherry tomatoes (pref on the vine)
Bake in oven.

Yummy i would of done it with asparagus cream sauce with a hint of chili smile

Unfortunately i had no veg in the house apart from frozen peas.

Sooo in the end i mixed up some honey, paprika, salt and black pepper and wholegrain mustard, marinated the chicken, pan fried and then while that was resting added the cream with the rest of the mixture into the pan and served with my saute's and peas.

Was bloody delicious! lick

Any more suggestions will be gratefully received smile
