No comments/pix yet?

First off then, sorry about the wee 'red flag' incident. I thought I'd put the car so far off the track that they'd just leave it there until the end of the session and keep the track open.

Car just lost power and rolled to a halt. But first track session with the new engine so lucky nothing mechanlcal. I knewI was startingto get some wicked under-bonnet temperatures so I think fuel vapourisation - plus a trace says I was recording rpm and had fuel pressure out of the pump...and it started fine once it cooled down. Next project to insulate the fuel line and get some cold air to the carb.

Great session though, lots of clear track time and a decent mix of cars.

And real happy with the tvrolet even with the early bath - not going too hard on the car and being lazy with only 5 gear changes per lapv but still running an ok pace. Just got to learn to drive it better now

Pleased that it was nothing major. I guess it just needs some Thermo insulation wrap or tubing over the top of the fule lines in the engine bay.

Photos anyone?

Cheers Mike
