Best kart track in uk?? any good ones?

Rye House
Buckmore Park
Pole Position (Leeds)

Sorry based in the deep south we don't venture much north of Birmingham so can't comment on northern tracks

I like Buckmore Park.

We like the Buckmore track except that we do endurance racing and the signing-on/cafe etc are on the opposite side to the pits. The pit signalling position is poor, the pit entrance nearly always causes problems, the pit exit is not much better and you can only see half the track. I imagine for sprint racing it is fine.

Three Sisters (Wigan) outdoor track is great! Proper fast too.

I'd vote Daytona as it has contours, though can't really comment on the rest! Isn't Buckmore park number 1? And if so for good reason?

whilton mill is a very good track

rissington is awesome

shenington is very good

glan y gors is awesome

3 sisters is good also if you have something quick
and others like lydd,ellough,larkhall.

if you want proper kart tracks then the above is where you should be heading.

if you want mickey mouse tracks then see below;

any indoor track really

Shennington

Little Rissington (has a hold your breath virtually flat corner at the end of the back straight

Dunkerswell

Clay Pigeon twisty in a gearbox kart but good fun

Forest Edge wasn't up and running when I were a racer but have spectated

Alain Prost Circuit (Le Mans)

Whilton and Shen are both my fave's great tracks in an ICC kart.

Crashed my icc on the last corner at Whilton, 60mph + into the fence ( data log showed impact arounf 35mph ish, cracked helmet! thought i'd broken my neck.

Great corner tho :-)

Yes, not a lot of run off there - do they still have the plastic grating on the outside of the track there?

Great corner and entirely possible to end up crossing the line backwards...

About 5 feet lol, yes thats still there, i came off just before the wood chip pile..... not that it would have stopped 180kg @ 50+

Rear brakes locked due to some kind of failure, so no grip on turn-in and straight on! can't remember the impact but do remember being launched towards the barrier!

I think the fence is still broken from the impact, about the worse corner i think regards runoff.
