Red Dot pads identification help pls!

Got some Red Dot pads from Halford's last night (was in there to purchase paint) as they were in the bargain bin for £15. They look very much like Peugeot pads, so I thought I'd take a gamble. The only markings on them say Red Dot XE 040. The box has a small label that says XE 1750 in small type, and 768614 in bigger type.

Anyone shed any light? I've not got a definitive answer from Google.
