Hola Chaps & Chapette's

I'm going to be in the area during the day/night with a certain close girlfriend of mine...Now I don't know the area at all so I'm hoping to nab some hints & tips of where two some what philosophical yet very active 23/22yr olds could do on the day. The more random an activity/event, the better biggrin

Any idea's?

The big wheel is up in Windsor as well at the moment, just be ready for the shocking parking options Windsor offers you...

My advice when around Slough is to keep on going right past it. Do not enter at all costs!

When in Windsor I use a sneaky little side road that leads down to a (fairly) secret Hotel Car Park (very reasonable rates, a bit of a squeeze but nice and secure)
Its off the High St.
Drive past Bang and Olufsen (on your left) and its on your left about 100yds up.

My advice regarding Reading would be to find the road out of it and drive to Henley. smile

Lunch in Henley, followed by a walk along the river.

But isn't Henley full of ghastly people bragging about how much money they've got? It seems to be when I go there. Also it has one of the most rubbish second hand records shops I have even been in.

A walk or cycle along the Thames from Marlow to Maidenhead on a nice day?

Never seen that myself? Mostly full of young people enjoying themselves in the summer.

Henley sounds interesting, thanks for that one.

Although today we've realised that we both fancy strolling round a huge car boot sale, let it not be said I don't know how to show a girl a good time hehe...Any running around the area that we can reach in the afternoon without fear of missing absolutley everything?

Also are there any indoor ice rinks/go karting places we can just turn up at?

Ascot has a noon boot sale iirc, and a karting place in Slough does pay and drive karting. Nigel linky it in the karting thread few pages back on here.

There's an ice rink in Slough & indoor karting not sure if u can just turn up though (for karting)Absolute karting. Also not sure if its on this sunday but there's usually a big boot sale on the A4 between Maidenhead & Slough (Taplow).
