Like a lot of dealers they are short of good used cars so are retailing interesting other marques too. Theres a couple of immaculate 911's in there as well.
Not a fan of Subaru's but saw that one at close quarters the other day and its actually quite a beast

Agreed, very strange indeed.

I'm suprised i've never seen the window smashed there before.

They have some nice cars in stock atm.

Does anyone remember Wheelhouse in Nottingham out on the Nuttall Road?

I remember stopping in there when I was a teenager to goggle at their ever changing and esoteric stocklist, ranging from one of those very square / angular 70's AM Logondas with the three front lights on each side (can't be bothered to google!!) parked next to a bright pink Countach with the numberplate LAM80.

I remember Wheelhouse garage. Used to get my mum to take me when I was much much younger, just to go and look at what they had and if I was lucky actually sit in! Ferrari 400s, old Rolls Royces - pity the showroom closed.. Although that sort of back fired on me when my parents did actually buy a car from there - a Rover convertible!

the area is a bit rough but still a nice showroom, i went with a mate from college a few months back as we had nothing to do, didn't realise they had an intercom system, i thought oh i bet they wont let us in as we aint buying, let us both in for a good look round and let me take some pics, friendy staff and good service is the key to being successful, i would buy a car from them.

I have been twice now, first time i went was in January, there was 3 Balboni in the showroom, the guy i spoke to was quite tall with short hair, he was working in the small office next to where the sales desks are so i think he was the sales manager? pleasant person to speak to.

The second time i went was to the open day in Apri, that was great, saw the first LP 570 in the U.K, spoke to the guy who was in the aftersales sector, not sure of his name, but he was pleasant guy and had a good conversation with him. I take it you work there as you said "i must have been off that day".

Been to quite a few showrooms in Cheshire, Lamborghini Manchester is probably my fave one as the staff are friendly.

well i dont technically work their but i sort of volunteer there when i've got the chance and i tell you what i might as well work there, they treat me like i work their. unfortunately the guys who work behind the scenes keeping everybody's cars working and on the road often arnt praised enough for what they do, they work so, so hard and rarely get recognition for all the effort they put in, thats just the way it is though. I hope to see you there sometime! smile

Oh what do you do when you volunteer to work there, do you wash the cars or something like that. I know the technicians do work hard, i remember reading an issue of Evo Magazine and Simon George praised one of the technicians, i think his name was Dan Pixton and he said he almost worked round the clock to get the work complete. These guys work the hardest and dont get paid or praised enough, just not right in my opinion.

Are you doing an apprenticeship with Lamborghini Manchester then? I met Simon at the open day, really nice guy, never knew he had 5 Lambo's, only thought he had the old war horse Orange Murcielago along with the white LP640.
