We loved the place, and the sheer diversity of the country is amazing - you've got Norway, Scotland, England, France and the Alps all in one country!!!

Taken a while to get them sorted and posted-up, but here are some of my favourites from New Zealand:-

Lake Taupo

A couple from Orakei Korako nearby

Rotorua and nearby

From above Christchurch looking behind the hill

...and offshore from Akaroa

Part 2 (Mt Cook, Queenstown and Doubtful Sound) to follow...

You lucky b. I loved NZ as well, and whilst I wouldn't normally rate myself good at landscapes, I got some shots I was pleased with: www.blokewithacamera.co.uk/NZ.htm

The hard part is relaxing because your head is contantly spinning around looking for photos!

Fantastic country, nearly moved there a couple of years ago, not only are the views spectacular, but the majority of people there are really nice and laid back.

So you should be, some excellent photos there.

And yes, know what you mean...in the right weather the whole place seems photogenic! I think in 2 weeks in NZ and 5 days in the Cook Islands I took getting on for 3,000 photos. About a third I deleted straight-off when I got home, the rest are either nice memories or decent photos.

PS - stop showing off on my thread! wink
