Could this have been a potential fire?

Hi all, I've been having problems with my Cerbera right indicator not turning off, I've checked the continuity of some of the ribbon cables today and they seem fine. I checked the relays and one of them toward the rear of the car is clicking, after checking the row of boxes on top of the fuel tank I found this all charred.

Could it have developed into a fire? When I disconnect the box the indicator stays on, and all the lights flicker. Any ideas? New relay box? has anyone ever had a fire in the rear of a Cerbera? I've checked all the fuses and they're all fine?

From the looks of the amount of exposed wire, yes.

Any dodgy wiring in a Cerb is potentially dangerous as the fusing system isn't great.
