Where can I find the big fuse everyone mentions? My battery light is on, if I disconnect the battery whilst it's running everything cuts out which makes me think alternator but I keep hearing about a 100amp fuse, I've checked in the boot and can't find it? Any ideas?

It is right at the back of the engine, not the back of the 'V', but right at back almost on top of the bell housing. a little black matchbox sixe plastic box with thick wires going in at each end.

Yep, found it cheers, it was blown hence the battery light being on. Where can I get replacements from? From what Ive read on here it's a regular thing with them, could have happened when I changed my battery?

Thanks

Ummm, Numpty says "How the hell do you do that ?"
Numpty thought it was part of the Chassis.
Oh, and does it matter what type of Scuttle, Windscreen or year of car you've got.

All years have the same battery cover. Undo the pipes for the washers and then undo two allen headed bolts, one on each side at the pointed end of the scuttle panel - one past the battery, the other past the brake fluid reservoir.. Then ease the panel toward the front of the car to release the two clips that hold it on near the windscreen.
