Granada Mk2- No heater!
Discussion
The heater on my Mk2 Granada 2.8 Ghia (carb) is not working. I knew it could be something to do with the heater matrix and I am going to flush it through and see if it cures it. On closer inspection in the engine bay there seems to be a coolant control valve which has the two coolant pipes running to and from the matrix running through it. It is located in close proximity to the matrix near to the bulkhead. Could this be the source of my non-working heater? And what does it do? Thank you, Richie

But I dont recall there ever being a water cutoff to the heater core on my car. Hot/cold is usually controlled by a flap inside the heater box itself.
And if its the core thats the problem....its entire centre console, lower dash, and others bits need to come out to get it out.
Bit of a nightmare really. Mine blows luke warm air....but I really cant be bothered pulling the dash out !!!!
