Looks ok but been for sale for quite a while. It's quite far from me but might go and take a look next weekend.

As its only done 2k miles.. I'd be suprised if its ever had a half decent work out.

IMO the reason its been up for sale a while.. its because it aint exactly cheap. There's quite a few similar aged (albeit sensible mileage) supercharged exiges around for that kind of money.

I was in Lyndhurst Friday and see said car along with a California which WAS outside the showroom.
Car looked good to me. I only cast my eye over the Exige. But nothing stood out as being an issue. It looked new. The only thing I was unsure of was that it did not have an Air bag steering wheel, I thought all Lotus's come with this now.

Looks relatively expensive, plus I've never understood why anyone would buy an Exige "touring". It's supposed to be a track-biased car, so why buy one without the performance stuff? The mind boggles.

You only get the airbagged wheel on 06/07MY cars with Super Touring pack.
Standard on all 08MY cars smile

I quite fancied this car; went to have a look at it yesterday with a view to have a drive etc. but they were too busy; was told they would call this morning to arrange a time for me to go and drive it....mid-day and no call, I phoned in and was told they had a deposit on it from someone who was test-driving it...... Oh well, the search shall continue.

Just for your info, the car was a demo + 1 and the dealer didn't have the service books, so couldn't tell me when/if it had been serviced. I do really fancy a later-dash car, but the mileage on that one, and the fact it looked like new was a bit of a draw.

Horses for courses, I prefer the older dash design, unless spec'd with complete alcantara trim and different steering wheel, as with the new one I keep pressing the dam horn when cornering - not very cool lol.

Good luck with the search....

2000 miles isn't even properly run in yet. Need to put about 5-6k on before it's all nice and loose (or that's what I found with my 111R anyway).
