I went down to meet Allan who runs "Carbon Cerbie" in Southampton the other day, he's got an impressive workshop with some amazing quality bits in there. He's currently doing me a few bits for my car, but after speaking to him basically the guy can do anything! I've got T350 seats in my car so he may be doing the seat backs in carbon but it got me thinking, what else could we, possibly as a group buy, get done?
Maybe an insert for the recess between the rear window and the boot? Wing mirrors? Scuttle panel would look nice with one of his battery covers? Bonnet? (or is that a bit too Jap import?) rear view mirror? I'm sure some TVR bonnet and Cerbera boot badges would sell like hit cakes, I live little details like that.
Any ideas?

reasonably priced air boxes would be a big hit along with A pillar wind deflectors and yes the rear windscreen plinth thing.

I'd like to get a replacement trim strip that's on the lower edge of the rear screen.

I emailed him ages ago about a replacement F1 panel (later 4.5 style) but never got a response.

If you do speak to him again see if he's inteterested. I have a panel he can use for a mould.

I can't imagine how a Carbon Fibre Badge will look better! smile .....But anyway, peel back the carpet in the boot, and undo the 2 M6 nuts on the reverse of the badge.

I have the later A pillars, but still get wind noise. I would like a redeveloped versions being made up something that maybe covered the window area more - or had actually some expertise in wind testing.

any takers

Hi Andy, next time you visit Allan, look me up, I live just down the road from his workshop. He's made loads of bits for me, they're superb but it does take time.

One off bits are inevitably expensive due to the time to produce the mould etc, thats why the badges sound like a good idea hopefully lots of people would want them and they can be changed back if required, although mine would have to say 5.7. wink

I love my splitter, its being blended at the bodyshop at the moment along with the lights.

Yeh Ill give you a shout, I'm going down there soon to collect the bits Ive got ordered. Who's doing your lights? I've got some that I need blending in too, i've got a mate who lives in Hamble and he suggested using someone who does boatbuilding as they're used to using fiberglass. Ideally I want mine respraying too.

A friend of mine is doing them, contact me for his details, he's based in Southampton and his main business is boats but he has lots of experience spraying Tiv's.

How about air boxes, im sure you would get a load of takers for them. Have you felt the weight of the old ones?? reckon you would half that at least and keep the fresh air cooler on the way to the fire breathing beast? I would be up for a set?? And they would look great.
