Hi all
1st post so saying hi with a question.
Since I've had my car(2000/W Bora 2.0l auto -APK engine) I seem unable to solve a slightly lumpy idle problem.Pulls and drives fine.

Nothing registers on my rev counter and although it warm idles on around 950-980 rpm I can still feel a definite 'wobble' in the drivers cab every now and then.

To date I have changed plugs, leads, lambda sensor, changed the MAF,coolant temp sensor, coil pack, cleaned the TB and as I have full vagcom done an alignment.
Any ideas what could be at fault?

Thanks as usual for any advice

Pete

I have heard of wrongly fitted cam belts with VW's like this, Wouldn't think this is the problem though.

You could try re adapting the ECU on VAG-COM, this worked on mums Golf.

Thanks for the advice.
I do actually have the full VAGCOM program so might give this a go-where would I be able to find details on how to do this..and is there any known risk attached?

Thanks again

01 Engine section
10 Adaption
Channel 00.... Adapt. may give you a warning, but it should be fine, this re-sets the whole ECU.
