New Tastify Pot Noodle Advert

Who is the guy in the new Pot Noodle advert - the Tastify one?

I think he's Australian - he has quite long sideburns.

Tried google without success.

hehe, as much fun as throwing a poodle sounds i dont think so !!! i find it nearly as annoying as that 118/247 ad that was repeated non stop for a month !

Occasionally its so bad is good, but this is just annoying, thank god for sky+ and remote control.

Really interested to know whether I'm the only person who, for about the first 5 times of seeing the advert, I was watching too intently on what happened to the poodle (parachutes back down, btw) to notice the lass in the yellow top run across the front and do the splits.

I suspect that might mean that, subconciously, I love poodle holes.

I thought the first one was quite amusing, I don't understand why they've replaced it with the rather lame 'throwing a poodle' ad so quickly.

I know what you mean - but dont think I can help... slightly chubby, retro looking aussie guy... I'm sure hes been in a series where he looks exactly the same. Hes not been in Flight of the Conchords has he? (its rare I watch it)
