Evening all,
My '96 MX5 has a brake imbalance of 18%.
The tyres it came on were ditched for some Toyos and tyre pressures are good
The tired suspension was replaced with the Gaz Gold set up. I thought that maybe the damper rates could be out, or even that the springs are different. But it's been back to WiM for a check up as it's these guys who fitted it all. I'm now convinced that the suspension set up is not to blame.
I've noticed that on firmer settings the left front locks up first and quite easily. On the softer settings the car feels like it's twisiting under braking.
How can I solve this? Is it related to discs and pads, or is it the braking system?
Any ideas?
