Diablo windscreens

Hi all!
I have a small crack on my windscreen, right at the bottom corner, hidden in the black tinted part.
To be quite honest, I thought I could live with it, as it is hardly noticable. However, I have now thought about claiming from my windscreen cover on my insurance.
Problem is, the insurance company will want to fit a pattern screen, which does not include the Lamborghini logo watermark in the corner.
The Lamborghini one costs a hell of a lot more. Is it really worth paying the extra for authenticity?
Alternatively, does anyone know of a genuine Lambo screen at a resonable price?
What do you guys think?

iirc
a crack under 2" long can be repaired
if it's just in the darkened edge, then the car will pass an mot

Thanks for that Andrew.
The car will go through the MOT with it. That's not a problem.
The problem is that it is bugging me, each time I look at the car.
I may take your advice and see if the crack can be repaired.

I have a very minor crack in the bottom front of my drivers window, barely visible.

To be honest, its probably not worthwhile fixing. Its a load of £££'s for no reason, apart from making you feel a wee bit better.

Surely the money could be spent or saved for better things, like some Gucci shoes for the wife??? Can you tell my girlfriend was reading this with me?
