Tamora Roof Corner Repairs?

Has anyone ever repaired the corners of a Tamora roof where they can become unstitched and lose? See pictures below, any ideas of how to go about fixing it would be great! Cheers, Dom

Yeah £400+vat fully fitted for a new roof had mine done last week. I also had a smaller rear screen so it folds in half properly and don't get creased where it goes round the bend.
I'll take some pics when it's dry enough to get out of the garage.

Bottom corners can be re-glued (impact adhesive type glue) Barry's new roof with the modified window so it folds without creasing is a good idea. I planned to get mine done having had the rear screen replaced last year but not got round to it yet.

Cheers guys! Was hoping for a cheap fix so I guess I'll give the glue a go when I pick the car up next week, see if I can tidy it up a bit! Was wondering if there was any point trying to sew it again? Cheers! Dom

Its not stiched to start with I think. I found it easy to glue with the hood down rather than in the up position. Also depends on the angle the fabric was cut on the corners as to if it can be fixed back neatly

Use impact adhesive, instant grab so no need to clamp. Just check how the fabric will fold first if it needs 'positioning' to give the best finish then using clamps and something like silicone adhesive is best (easy to separate again if you get it wrong both when dry & wet)

I did mine with a hot glue gun as I found it easier to get it to hold. I cleaned all the old glue out first and made sure the trim was all going to fit well. Using the glue gun I just filled the fold with glue and held it together with my fingers. When it had cooled I trimmed of any glue that has escaped. Worked a treat.

I had a new screen put in mine after getting fed up with having gaffa tape over the holes in it where it folds. The new screen has lasted just over a year and has now got a hole in the off side in exactly the same place as on the old screen.

Yes it looked just the same the little wire was even poking out. I did the hoop seal at the same time as the old one had lost its grip and wouldn't stay put. No pics but will post one up later if I get time.

hello again, if you look just behind the roof edge you will find a black allen key type bolt, if you loosen that you can tuck some of the material under and re-tightn. It does come away again after a few ups n downs but looks better, just a pig to get at
