Software update

It has been suggested that I could probably do with a software update on me Nob. where does it go to, what does it cost and is it a case of unplug, send off, get it back and replug it all back in or does it need to go to the garage.

Im sure it can be removed and posted etc, but do you just want the latest software revision or a bespoke map tailored to your requirements/car etc ?

Just want to get the latest software, not remapped , it has been suggested it is better for running in town etc

Highly recomend you speak to Yellowshed, very nice bloke and gave a new lease of life to my car just by putting the right std map into it (it varied because of things like make of injectors etc changed)

Trevor's great and re mapped mine.
But before that the factory updated the chip software for me for free.

Its been suggested by Skip at Arkeley that getting the latest software helps with the round town running and drivability (good word)

Andy , perhaps this is a MBE software upgrade ? might be worth getting in touch with Noble to see if there is one .

There were updates to maps on-going during the development of the cars which improved things in many areas. Most cars that went back to the factory got the updates, but there are cars out there still running very early maps and software. These cars do definitely benefit from a map update. The factory, Jestream or I can update the software on or off the car.

Not really. You really need access to the maps to tell.

Hi yellowshed, i'm in need of some help and was about to trek all the way to area52 in nottingham for dyno test and possible tweaking as i think my cars running lean. I feel dumb asking as everyone knows you but do you do this for a living if so where are you based and whats the company called.
