Powerflex bushes M3 E46?
Discussion
The rear trailing arm bushes are a must for the track... but a big improvement for road work too.. they stop the rear trailing arms floating on the rubbers.. under load the bushes give out, and you end up with what feels like rear wheel steering.. it's caused by the variable rear toeing that the stock bushes produce..
You will find the car much improved with a more planted rear end, when you load up the suspension hard..
Powerflex ones are 2 nylon top hats really rather than a metalastic bush.. they cost about 15 quid a side.. but fitting is a bit more work and you will need a geo check up.. about a 350 quid job on the car..
I would not poly bush it anywhere else, unless its a track only car or you will need a season ticket to get your fillings put back in regularly.. !!
Enjoy..
