Duxford Air Show 21/8/09

Anyone who put their names down at the Lakenheath show will have received an e.mail giving details but for those who did not,the closing date for details to be given is 1st June. The gates open at 10am and we have to be there before then and we will not be able to leave until 6pm. All those who wish to participate and are not giving details directly please PM me with Make / Model / Registration No. and I will forward them.

I like the idea of supporting the show, but that's a bloody long day, especially when we have a fair way to travel in each direction

thats what i was thinking as well Mark, pretty long day espicially if its raining, though i have booked the day off work

I have spoken with the organiser explaining that 6am would be rather late for those who have travelled long distances to attend and although he could not catagoricaly state that it would be ok to leave around 4pm he did indicate that there was not much they could do about it if you wanted to.

I'm on for the food Friday. I guess it would make sense to find a pub local to Duxford if people are coming from different directions? Else somewhere on the way back.

I can try looking/enquiring for the Duxford area, but don't know any off-hand.
