A very boring topic I'm afraid, but on the plus side at least it means I've got nothing more expensive to worry about with the car!

I need some new wiper blades and possibly those rubbery jets. They seem to spray water everywhere except on the screen.

Obviously I don't make a habit of taking the car out in the rain but anyone have any recommendations? There seem to be hundreds on e-bay, just not sure whether they can be trusted.

Many thanks,
Laurence

Leven blades are ~£30 . I bought the full kit for £60 which includes much better washer jets plus new arms (as mine were getting rather rusty)

Not sure if the blades on their own come with the new water squirters, worth a call to Leven to check.

Yep, that's what I went for, couldn't be bothered to do a link on the Blackberry, too fiddly!

Thanks. I'll give them a go. The Leven ones sound excessively expensive.

Likewise. Better coverage than a certain German brand, plus they have a better washer system built in!

I thought £30 was quite reasonable to get wipers that actually work, first time in 4 years I've ben able to clean my screen properly.

Ditto,

The Leven ones work really well, and look tidy.

I don't push the nozzles too hard when you connect the pipes though or you'll be cutting through the bulkhead to get them back in!!

Perhaps I've been a little dismissive.
I got the impression that the altetrnatives were as efficient.

I'm not sure the current wipers have worked properly in 6 years.
The last track day I did in the rain springs to mind yikes
