SUPERCAR SUNDAY
Discussion
Thursday 26th February (Copied from the LCUK Forum)
Date:- Sunday 28th June 2009.
This year, The Heritage Motor Centre is incorporating super bikes in the show. The gates open to the public at 10.00am.
As in previous years, they will be running a cavalcade around the emissions test track of the Jaguar / Land Rover Test Facility. Runs will last for approx 30mins and a photo opportunity is included.
As always, the coveted SUPERCAR of the year is up for grabs, with the final decision being made at 15.30 on Sunday. I will be able to get a limited number of entry tickets free
It would be good to get a convoy formed as we did last year, venue to be advised.
Place you details, Name & car on this thread.
Cheers,
Tadek

As promised, here is the update.
Spoke to the management of Wycombe Lamborghini and they kindly agreed to us using their car park at the rear of their premises.
Suggest that we start meeting from 09.00am, with plans to leave for Gaydon latest 09.45am.
As this is not an official LCUK event, we shall make it available to all supercar owners.
RallyRider of course is more than welcome to join in the fun.

this could get confusing,
i propose we merge both the lists and the runs.
i'm happy to tie in the meet in London with a run up to LHW so we can then all set off together and really make a spectacle of it (not to mention some noise!)
what do you think?
I should be able to sort my guys tickets out so when we get there it doesn't get too fraught when we get there.

Harsh, I get confused so easily, and want to join the fun, so please tell me which headings the posts will be in for the attendees. Also where in London will you start off from? Ta muchlyi propose we merge both the lists and the runs.

Makes logical sense, as you no doubt will be going down the M40, we could all meet up at LHW.i propose we merge both the lists and the runs.

+1 as I'm coming from London anyway!
are you providing the entertainment in the ring again ?
wadaya going to do this year ???
Maybe a nice re-enactment or something. Hmmm That's not a bad idea - maybe go for a nice nautical theme.
Got it!
A staging of the sinking of the Bismarck!
I can use a few Esprits for submarines.
Now... Where can I find something German in Battleship Grey?
Hi all,
Here's the latest update.
Just heard from the organisers, they are planing to have special guest this year and that is Richard Noble OBE. Richard specialises in developing high risk ventures. Obviously not all of them can be successful, but the Thrust2 programme which brought the World Land Speed Record back to Britain in 1983 and the Thrust SSC first ever supersonic land speed record programme are the best known. His talk should be most interesting.
Harsh, who is organising a convoy from London has agreed to meet us at LHW, so we are looking to a spectacular turnout.
I will have a number of tickets available, which are allocated for Lamborghini owners, as we will have reserved parking space, in front of the main building. Should the turnout of Lambo's be poor, which I hope not, than any spare tickets will be available, to other supercar owners.
