Fitting repackable exhaust to westfield zetec........help!

I'm trying to replace a standard sealed pipe on a westie with a repackable one, supplied by westfield. But it just doesn't seem to fit correctly even with the new brackets, has anyone else had this problem or got any pics of one fitted, showing how the brackets fit etc

After fitting a Zetec into the car to replace the old Xflow, I found that the stock Westfield system wouldn't fit because of the age of our cars chassis. Basically, '91 vintage, so engine had to go way forward. Ended up having a custom-made link-pipe between the silencer and the manifold. The previous sealed item had just about fitted, but only due to it being a smaller OD.

Sounds a bit like your issue maybe??

Have been on to Westfield about this and turns out there are different brackets for the left and right, they remembered this on the third time of me asking
Apparently they're waiting for them to come in though.....almost sounds like they haven't made them yet

That's slightly worrying!

Have to say I've always found them great for parts. Bought a new carpet set at for it Xmas....slightly worried it might not fit given the age of the car but they got it spot-on.
