A weeks worth of driving in Wales

Hey guys, i'm going to Wales next week so I have a last minute driving holiday on my hands. Apart from the obvious evo triangle what other recommended roads are there- length isn't really an issue, as long as its do-able in a day. Preferred roads are well surfaced and 2 lane and away from the holiday traffic where I can put the boot down for a nice blast. Feel free to PM me if you dont want to post on here.

The A5, B4336 and A4086 (but watch out for stones on the road) make a decent triangle, though I believe that next week is half term so it might be a bit different than it was last Sunday. Best enjoyed both ways.
