Monaco Concept Chronograph

I've only just noticed what seems to be a new page on Tag Heuer website for Basel 2009, featuring the Monaco Concept Chronograph - If you watch the introduction all the way through it shows the back display case and rotor, which looks tasty!

I'm guessing £6,000 - 6,500 for the watch when it is released? Does anyone know if they are producing limited numbers? I can always dream

think this is the one that they have in the telegraph today - limited numbers (1,000 of which 70 for the UK) and approx £6.5k

I have to have one. Like, properly, have to have one. Regardless of the fact that £6.5k is way out of my league, I need to find some way to scrape the cash together.

I think you'll find that they were talking about the 40th anniversary model in the telegraph rather than the concept model. The price and production numbers quoted above are correct for that edition.

I love this watch!! I saw it last week and decided my plain, boring black Monaco Gulf Edition looks pants compared to this! I do hope they make it...has anyone put down deposits or letters of intent for it?

any clarity on this; the 40th anniversary can't be 6.5k surely; the new movment monaco is on 3.5k.. but the movement and limited run of the concept would have put it nearer 10k I would have thought!!

I have asked at two dealers about the concept and no one seems to be saying anything. I just ended up leaving my details so they could call me if it does get released.

Based on actual current prices, if the limited monaco is 6.5K then the concept is probably going to be more.

I've kind of decided I will get one, unless the it goes to stupid prices, it looks fantastic from the pics.

It's beautiful, but 6.5k for a TAG is ridiculous. You can get the real Heuer for a third of the price.
