Gents,

I am currently stuck between 3 choices of fluids...

Do I go for:
AP Formula 5.1 - £4.63 - http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDeta...

AP600 - £13.22 - http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDeta...

PRF600 - £14.71 - http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDeta...

My instinct and considering the brakes are £2k would be to go for the PRF600 with the highest heat rating. However will it work well in my 6 Pots for fast road and track use? Or is it a motorsport only item!?

Many thanks in advance.

They will all work on the road and track but the motorsport 600 fluids will absorb moisture from the air faster than the Formula 5.1 so will need to be changed more frequently to maintain their higher boiling point.

So actually better to go for the 5.1 in theory if I don't want to frequently flush the brake system.

Thanks,

Any reason you're not considering Motul RBF600 or ATE200?
As a full Motul fluids user, I'd side with the RBF600, but the ATE is no slouch either.

Many thanks for the suggestion, I will look into the Motul.

I look at AP as that's what the brakes are originally spec'd with.

Thanks,

I use AP 5.1 and I have AP 6 pots all round, in fact, come to think of it, my whole braking system is from AP. I do not see the point in using a non specified fluid just for the sake of it and if anything should you have any kind of a problem, God forbid, at least all of the system will be compatible and is proven to have worked well and as designed in conjunction with one another.
